Role Overview:

You’ll partner with sales reps, leaders, and HQ to implement and optimize CaptivateIQ, ensuring it scales with evolving commission strategies. You’ll be an in-house expert—configuring systems, supporting stakeholders, and improving platform workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales reps, leaders, and management to assess and resolve commission system needs.

  • Lead CaptivateIQ implementations and support ongoing projects for internal and external customers.

  • Maintain deep CaptivateIQ expertise; stay current with best practices and industry trends.

  • Design, configure, test, and optimize commission models for efficiency and repeatability.

  • Provide technical support, including proactive recommendations and troubleshooting.

  • Manage project timelines, expectations, scope, and negotiate service terms.

  • Document processes, prioritize tasks, and uphold best practices across the team.

  • Handle complex plan calculations with large datasets via spreadsheets, databases, or modeling tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Finance, or equivalent.

  • 1–3+ years implementing or configuring sales commission systems (CaptivateIQ or similar).

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proven project management abilities, including Agile/Scrum experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Customer-obsessed and service-oriented demeanor.

  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce), ERP (Netsuite), cloud implementations.

  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL, Python, or other scripting languages.

  • Background in finance operations, planning, accounting, system implementation, sales engineering, solutions architecture, or consulting.

  • Prior use of competitor tools (Xactly, Varicent, Spiff).
